When my sister and I were little, my mom was very good about making us write our thank you notes after birthdays and Christmas. Now that I’m a grownup (hypothetically), I’ve become quite lax. I’m resolved, however, to get back in the habit. There is nothing quite as thoughtful as a handwritten note sent by post.
