I couldn’t have said it better myself. Growing up in California and having attended a state school has made me so aware of this and disheartened at the lack of concern our legislators/voters have for things like quality education and national parks. We’ve been looking for short-term fixes and neglecting the long-term consequences. Selfishness on a grand scale.
I’m bookmarking this place in case I’m ever in Williston Park, NY.
